Our quality system is built so your QA team can accept our CMM reports and FAI packets on the first pass — no rework on your end, no re-issued paperwork on ours. Every shipment leaving Long Beach or Phoenix carries traceable documentation back to the heat-treat batch, the stock lot, and the named machinist who ran the program.
§ 01 · The Quality Management System
AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 are not posters in our lobby. They are operationalized across five daily disciplines: document control with revision tracking, a calibration program covering every gauge on the shop floor, training matrices tied to part numbers rather than job titles, a CAPA log reviewed weekly by engineering and quality, and configuration management that traces every drawing revision to the as-shipped part.
NADCAP accreditation covers our in-house heat-treat and NDT processes, and ITAR registration is current for defense and aerospace work routed through Long Beach. The Quality Director — a named individual, not a department alias — signs every FAI and every Certificate of Conformance that leaves the shop. If your supplier-quality team needs a point of contact for an audit finding, you get the name on the cover sheet.

§ 03 · Metrology stack
Every measurement we quote is bounded by the calibrated accuracy of these machines. If your print calls out a tolerance tighter than what this stack can verify, the quote will flag it before the cut — not after the part arrives at your dock.

Hardness · Rockwell
Vickers and Knoop micro-hardness testing down to 0.01 kgf load. Used to verify heat-treat outcomes on tool-steel and titanium parts where lot-level hardness certification is required.
§ 04 · The engineering review desk
Behind the quote form is a desk of eleven senior CNC programmers — five in Long Beach, six in Phoenix — who review every uploaded STEP and IGES file before a price is returned. They flag GD&T callouts that the CAM system will misinterpret, wall-stock that is too thin for the chosen material, and tolerance stacks that demand a tighter machine than the one the file is queued for. The note they leave lives inside the quote PDF, next to the line item. That is the human checkpoint that pushes first-article acceptance to 97.6%, and the reason a part that leaves our dock arrives at yours ready to install.

§ 05 · Supplier qualification, accelerated
Upload your STEP or IGES, set the tolerance stack and the material, and our review desk returns a DFM-annotated quote — typically within six hours for files under fifty parts. Request the full cert packet at the same time and it lands in your supplier-quality team's inbox before the parts ship.
